Videoconference workshop “Creative and innovative approaches to economic success” - 15 July at 15.00 in the British Council office.
The workshop will be part of the annual Summit devoted to the topic “Forging resilient local economies” on 14-15 July 2009 and unite summit delegates in Manchester, and participants from Copenhagen and Moscow.
The summit is conducted by CLES (The Centre for Local Economic Strategies) in the UK.

Nizhny Novgorod

Nizhniy Novgorod and Moscow were connected via Teleconference. Hugh Barnes, a journalist from UK, was invited to the guest speaker event. His speech was very interested and evoked many questions from both sides.

Some words from Victoria Grigorjeva, the member of British Alumni Club in Nizhniy Novgorod:

"Большое спасибо за приглашение на телемост со встречей Московского клуба выпускников 11 мая. Во-первых, лекция о работе британского журналиста в России была очень интересной. Я на следующей же неделе делилась впечатлениями о ней со своими студентами отделения журналистики перводческого факультета. И еще - так приятно так приятно было увидеть всех коллег и знакомых по нашему нижегородскому Клубу Выпускников, а также почувствовать sense of unity с нашими одноклубниками из Москвы. Еще раз спасибо!"
